Les Mamelles de Tirésias é uma peça de teatro de inspiração Surrealista, criada pelo escritor e crítico de arte Guillaume Apollinaire, no ano de 1917, em Paris. A revista SIC organizou a primeira representação desta obra a 24 de junho de 1917, na Rua de L'Oriente, em Paris. Esta edição da SIC é de 1918 e contém dois atos e um prólogo, a composição musical de Germaine Albert-Birot e ilustrações de Serge Férat. O autor inspirou-se no mito do vidente cego de Tebas-Tirésias e aplicou modernos e provocantes temas: feminismo e antimilitarismo. A história é baseada na personagem Teresa, que muda de sexo para ganhar poder entre os homens com o objetivo de mudar os costumes e estabelecer a igualdade de género.

Les Mamelles de Tirésias is a theatre play of surrealist inspiration, created by the writer and art critic Guillaume Apollinaire in Paris in 1917. The magazine SIC organised the first representation of this work on 24 June 1917, in the Rue de l’Orient, Paris. This edition of SIC is from 1918 and contains two acts and a prologue, the musical composition of Germaine Albert-Birot, and illustrations by Serge Férat. The author was inspired by the myth of Tiresias, the blind clairvoyant of Thebes, and applied modern and provocative topics: feminism and anti-militarism. The story is based on the character Thérèse, who changes herself into a man to gain power among men with the goal of changing customs and establishing gender equality.
