Pouco depois de André Breton lançar o Primeiro Manifesto Surrealista foi publicada a revista La Révolution Surréaliste, com doze números, publicados entre 1 de dezembro de 1924 e 15 de dezembro 1929. Os primeiros três números tiveram a direção de Pierre Naville e Benjamin Péret. A partir do quarto número, datado de julho 1925, André Breton assume a liderança da revista, que contém reproduções de arte de diversos autores, nomeadamente de Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, André Masson e Man Ray.

Shortly after André Breton had launched the First Manifesto of Surrealism, the twelve issues of La Révolution Surréaliste were published between 1 December 1924 and 15 December 1929. The directors of the first three issues were Pierre Naville and Benjamin Péret. From the fourth issue onwards (July 1925), André Breton took the lead of the magazine, which contains reproductions of art by several authors, namely Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, André Masson, and Man Ray.
